Pressdia and Laerryblue Media have entered into a media partnership with the 100 Persons of the Year ahead of the event’s ninth edition, scheduled to hold on December 6, 2026.
The partnership will support publicity, media relations and public awareness for the annual event as it prepares to unveil and honour 100 Nigerians making notable contributions across different sectors.
Tagged “The Royal Edition,” the 2026 ceremony will bring together honourees, business leaders, professionals, institutions and other stakeholders for a celebration of excellence, leadership and service.
Speaking on the collaboration, Tobiloba Akanni described the partnership as an important step in extending the reach of the event and the stories of those selected for recognition.
“The 100 Persons of the Year is built around recognising Nigerians whose work is creating meaningful impact. This partnership with Pressdia and Laerryblue Media will help us take their stories beyond the event and connect their achievements with a wider audience,” She said.
Through the collaboration, Pressdia and Laerryblue Media will support the communication of key event updates and strengthen media visibility around the ceremony and its honourees.
Pressdia provides press release distribution and media visibility services for individuals, brands and organisations seeking to communicate important developments to relevant audiences. Laerryblue Media is a Pan-African public relations, reputation management and marketing firm that helps leaders, entrepreneurs and businesses strengthen their positioning and public presence.
Their combined involvement will support the event’s communication needs and ensure that the significance of the ninth edition receives sustained attention ahead of the December ceremony.
“Recognition should go beyond presenting an honour on the day of the event. The achievements behind each recognition should be documented and shared in a way that helps people understand the work, commitment and impact of every honouree,” Tobiloba added.
The 100 Persons of the Year is open to Nigerians living within the country and across the diaspora. It also has no age restriction, allowing emerging changemakers and established leaders to be considered for recognition.
The ninth edition will recognise people contributing to business, innovation, leadership, culture, social development and other areas of national and international relevance. The unveiling of the 100 honourees will form a central part of the programme.
The ceremony will be a strictly black-tie event, reflecting the formal character of The Royal Edition and the significance attached to the achievements being celebrated.
For Pressdia and Laerryblue Media, the collaboration aligns with their work of helping credible stories, milestones and initiatives gain meaningful public attention. It also creates a platform for documenting the contributions of Nigerians whose work is advancing their industries and communities.
“We are looking forward to an edition that not only celebrates outstanding Nigerians but also gives their work the visibility it deserves. Working with Pressdia and Laerryblue Media strengthens our ability to communicate that purpose clearly,” She said.
The media partnership will strengthen communication around the ninth edition and help the stories of the 2026 honourees reach wider audiences ahead of the 100 Persons of the Year ceremony on December 6.
