Assemble Summit 2026 is set to bring young professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders together in Lagos for a practical leadership and career development experience built around the theme, “Building Beyond the Barrier.”
Scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the LCCI Conference and Exhibition Centre in Alausa, Lagos, the summit is expected to provide participants with useful guidance for advancing their careers, developing businesses, and responding to the demands of a changing workplace.
Rather than function solely as a motivational gathering, the event has been planned to combine practical learning with access to experienced professionals and valuable industry connections. Participants will take part in keynote sessions, workshops, and networking activities designed to translate ideas into real-world action.
The programme will draw on the experience of professionals working across several industries. Among those scheduled to speak are Rosemary Chimezie; Oladipupo Omolade, a Quality Assurance Engineer and Analyst; Esther Akinola, Chief Executive Officer of Hope Haven and an experienced clinical psychologist; and Ibrahim Adeniyi, a software engineering professional.
Together, they are expected to address career development, resilience, and the need for young professionals to remain relevant in a competitive environment.
As part of efforts to extend the summit’s message beyond the conference venue, Crest Africa, Laerryblue Media, and Empire Magazine Africa are serving as official media partners for Assemble Summit 2026. Their involvement will support wider coverage of the event and amplify its message around leadership and youth development across Nigeria and the wider African continent.
Attendees will also have opportunities to engage directly with founders and industry professionals through guided networking and practical learning sessions.
These interactions are intended to expose participants to new ideas and relationships that may lead to meaningful collaboration beyond the event.
According to the organisers, Assemble Summit was created to provide young Nigerians with more than inspiration. Its broader purpose is to develop a community where emerging leaders can exchange knowledge, discover opportunities, and gain the confidence required to build sustainable careers and businesses despite the barriers they may encounter.
The event comes as technological advancement and changing employer expectations continue to reshape career paths across several industries. For many young professionals, continuous learning and access to the right networks have become essential to remaining competitive.
Through its 2026 edition, Assemble Summit seeks to respond to this reality by connecting participants with experienced professionals and practical knowledge that can support their growth.
The summit is also expected to reinforce the value of collaboration among young leaders, with organisers hoping attendees will leave with clearer direction, stronger professional relationships, and tools they can apply after the event.
